Biking
Today, after it rained all morning and part of the afternoon, It got pretty nice out, so me and a friend went for a bike ride. We were out for about 3o minutes, but didn't go very fast. My HR was between 100-120 the whole time.
Moving
On Friday I helped move my friend into a different apartment. She lived on the third floor, so it was a lot of going up and down the stairs. I had my HR monitor on and my HR was all over the place. The highest number (125) was when we were carrying the couch up the stairs. By the end of the day, I was tired and sweaty. Felt like I just got done running 4 miles.

volleyball
Today I played volleyball outside with some friends. My HR was between 90-130. We did't play a very serious game....we just had fun for over an hour. After that, we shot some hoops and I found that my HR was a little bit higher than playing volleyball.
frisbee golf/ rollar blading
Friday was so nice out that I went frisbee golfing and rollar blading with some friends. I had my HR monitor on....and it was all over the place. My heart rate ranged from 80-120 throughout the day. It wasn't a very strenuous day...but fun and burned a good amount of calories.

Outside
Finally, it is getting nice out to be able to run outside! The last two days I ran about 4 and a half miles in the sunshine. I wish i would have put some sunscreen on because my face actually got burned! The wind was going opposite directions the last two days. Yesterday i ran into the wind on the way back, and today I ran into the wind at the beginning. My heart rate was always around 150-165. When i was running into the wind though, the avg. HR was a little higher!
Kickboxing/plyometrics
This week on thursday, during cardio class we did some kickboxing for 50 minutes. It wasn't very hard, but it sure got me sweaty by the end of the workout. My heart rate stayed between 125-140. Also, in my strength and conditioning class, we did some plyometrics. That really gets the HR going due to the short bursts of high energy neeeded. My highest HR was 185!

Strength and Conditioning class
This week during our strength and cond. class, we had a lab that involved doing several speed and agility drills. My heart rate got up to 180 during one of the drills that involved sprinting, shuffling, and back-pedaling. Many of the drills were tiring and had my HR going pretty goood.
